Dean R. Batson is an attorney at Nachmias, Morris & Alt, P.C.  Dean's practice involves initiating, managing and successfully concluding complex litigation matters for a broad range of clients.  From individuals to multinational corporations, Dean represents a diverse cross-section of real estate partnerships, developers, architects, physician practices, manufacturers, municipalities, and public authorities with an equally diverse array of claims involving contract, non-compete, unfair competition, product liability, fiduciary, ERISA and construction law disputes.  Dean has specialized experience handling ERISA disputes and representing insurers and benefit plan administrators in Sec. 510 interference with protected rights, breach of fiduciary duty, and denial of benefit claims.  Dean's construction law practice includes assisting and defending contractors, builders and developers facing disputes related to defective workmanship, non-payment, non-performance, liens, and various other contentious issues. 

Dean's role as legal counsel extends beyond the courtroom—he advises and represents clients in arbitration proceedings as well as federal, state and and private mediation.  

Prior to his legal career, Dean served 14 years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Interrogator-Translator, Korean Linguist, Intelligence Analyst and Infantryman.
