Mark T. Carlidge is a shareholder of Nachmias Morris & Alt LLC. and the senior member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice. Mark’s practice covers all aspects of estate planning and administration, counseling individuals, married couples and multi-generational families in matters relating to estates and trusts ranging from billions of dollars to more modest amounts. Mark works closely with his clients’ advisors to meet each client’s goals and to develop and implement seamless and comprehensive estate and financial plans. He advises clients in the areas of wealth transfer, business succession, pre-marital agreements, asset protection and charitable giving. Mark also assists his clients to understand, negotiate and resolve complicated income, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer tax issues. Mark regularly counsels individual and corporate fiduciaries, and beneficiaries. He represents them in court proceedings and in resolving issues without court involvement through nonjudicial and family agreements. Mark also advises clients with respect to the creation and operation of tax-exempt organizations.
